Sunday 8 November: two minutes' silence at 11am in Gurkha Square, service at All Saints at 2.30pm and the parade at 3.20pm. The full 2026 programme, timed.
Remembrance Sunday falls on 8 November 2026, and Fleet’s programme is unusual in running all day: the silence is at 11am, but the parade and the civic act of remembrance are in the middle of the afternoon. The parade leaves Church Road car park at 3.20pm and the wreaths are laid in Gurkha Square at 3.45pm.
Updated 2 October: Fleet’s programme is unchanged on the Legion’s and Fleet Town Council’s pages. Yateley Town Council has confirmed its own service for the same day, with times to follow.
If you turn up at Gurkha Square at 11am expecting a parade, you will find the two minutes’ silence and nothing else. The Fleet, Crookham and District branch of the Royal British Legion has published its full 2026 programme, and it splits the day between Church Crookham in the morning and Fleet in the afternoon.
Remembrance Sunday, 8 November 2026

| 11am | Two minutes’ silence, war memorial, Gurkha Square, Fleet |
| 2.30pm | Service of remembrance, All Saints Church, Church Road, Fleet, followed by the parade |
| 3.20pm | Parade with bands from Church Road car park to Gurkha Square. Music by Sandhurst and District Corps of Drums |

Refreshments are served in The Harlington afterwards, provided by Fleet Town Council. (Royal British Legion, Fleet, Crookham and District branch)
Fleet Lions, who steward the day, list the Church Crookham service as running from 10am to 11.30am and the Fleet parade as occupying the High Street and Gurkha Square from 2pm to 4.30pm. That is the practical window if you are planning to drive or park in the town centre. (Fleet Lions calendar)
Armistice Day, Wednesday 11 November 2026
Two silences, both at 11am, both at war memorials:
- The war memorial, Gally Hill Road, Church Crookham
- The war memorial, Gurkha Square, Fleet
Parking and getting there
The parade starts from Church Road car park, which is the largest in the town centre outside the shopping centre with 319 spaces and 8 disabled bays. It will be in use by the parade from about 3pm, so arrive earlier or park elsewhere. The Hart Shopping Centre car park (520 spaces, access from Albert Street) and Victoria Road (157 spaces) are the alternatives. Charges apply on Sundays across the district: see parking in Fleet for the tariffs.
Church Road has been closed for works into December, which affects the route between the car park and All Saints. Check Fleet roadworks and travel in the week before.
No road closure order for the parade had been advertised on the Public Notice Portal when this page was written. The route is short, from Church Road car park along to Gurkha Square, and is normally managed by marshals rather than a formal closure.
Elsewhere in Hart
Hart District Council has not yet published a district-wide list of 2026 remembrance events. Its most recent full list covers 2023 and includes services at Hawley, Odiham and Yateley alongside Fleet and Church Crookham, all organised locally rather than by the district council.
In past years Odiham’s parade has left All Saints Church, The Bury, for the war memorial on the High Street at 10am, with a flypast, which reflects the RAF Odiham connection. Odiham has not published a 2026 time, so check with the parish or the local Royal British Legion branch before travelling. (Hart District Council, 2023 list)
Yateley’s Remembrance Sunday is confirmed for Sunday 8 November by Yateley Town Council, which runs it with the Yateley and Hawley Royal British Legion, the Yateley Lions and the town’s churches. The 2026 times are not out yet. Last year the pattern was a 10am service at St Barnabas, a 2.30pm service at St Swithin’s Church with limited space, the parade to the war memorial at about 3.10pm, and the act of remembrance and wreath laying at about 3.30pm. Expect something similar, but treat those as 2025 times. (Yateley Town Council)
