Fleet’s parks and open spaces have won seven Gold awards in this year’s South and South East in Bloom competition. Two more entries won Silver Gilt, the level below Gold.
Fleet Town Council announced the results on 29 September.

What changed from last year
Two things are new compared with the 2025 results, which the council published last October:
- The Views moved up to Gold. It won Silver Gilt in the small park category in 2025.
- Ancells Farm Park is new to the list, with Silver Gilt. It did not appear in the 2025 results.
Calthorpe Park, Oakley Park, Basingbourne Park and Fleet Cemetery all held on to Gold. The town centre stayed at Silver Gilt for a second year.
The council thanked its grounds team and the volunteer Friends groups that help look after the parks. “Your efforts help make Fleet such a wonderful place to live, work and visit,” it said.
